(no subject)
Jun. 19th, 2003 09:15 pmSpent all afternoon packing up at the resource centre, which wasn't as uncomplicated a process as it might sound since the contents of one of the other offices had been dragged out and pretty much piled all over my filing cabinets and desk, and the floor between my filing cabinets and desk had been filled with furniture and file boxes and kettles and the photocopier and a little wicker basket full of ceramic mugs (which I considered hucking through the window in frustration, but managed not to because I'm a big fat wuss).
I went upstairs because we had a meeting (a meeting!) set up to discuss where all my crap is going to go. Nobody could make up their minds. They all agreed that, yes, it has to go somewhere, and yes, we kind of have to make up our minds like right the fuck now since I just packed everything I need to do my fricking job, but could anyone make a decision? Hah! I finally told them to work it out and let me know on Monday whether or not I should bother coming in.
And went home with my nose and lungs and every unprotected orifice clogged with dust and grit and whatever mouse dander happened to be floating around. Well. I didn't go straight home. I stopped at Zig's for a couple of vodka and tonics first and added a couple of pages to the story. Pages that I will probably have to recycle tomorrow, but whatever.
And now I'm going to play Mah Jongg until my eyes pop out because, hey,
dacey's made a new Justin game!
