Hey, hey. Just poking my head out briefly to say that I haven't spontaneously combusted, although the warmth might be welcome, and I haven't been whisked away by aliens, because apparently they have no discernment whatsoever.

Or maybe they just like human folk who can write sex scenes without wanting to stab themselves in the heart repeatedly in frustration. That wouldn't be me.

And that's pretty much all I've got.

Dude, that was exactly what I needed, but instead I had a rather horrible apple strudel-ish thing and a couple of glasses of wine. And like an idiot, I stayed up way too late struggling with the frickety frackety sex scene that will not be writ.

Tonight I'm getting chocolate. It's the only way.
