A terrible, horrible, no good, very bad thing has happened. It turns out that the sesa idea I had is not going to work, which would have been fine, because I am ever so clever and had not one but two (!!) extra ideas up my sleeve just in case, only it turns out that I am way less clever than I give myself credit for, because neither of these ideas is going to work either, and now I am in a blind state of panic and all I can come up with are story ideas that have already been written a bazillion and sixty-four times already, and man oh man, I'm so freaked out I'm hyperventilating and I can't even remember how to end a sentence.

It's okay. I know I can do this. I just need to remember how to breathe again.

Oh, fuckety fuck.

I saw later on that you solved this problem, but--belated eeeeep. That's what happened to me six days before it was due last year, and it's the main reason I didn't sign up this year. I just can't write the "boy meets boy. boy has pointless staged argument with boy. boy makes up with boy. the end" story. There has to be some weird freakiness.

Obviously I wasn't reading all the angsty posts flying around this time last year very carefully. I saw all "stress, stress, angsty-bangsty, whap me in the head with a shovel right now" posts, and what I took away was, "oh, hey, too bad you couldn't join the party because this FUN!!!" Apparently I'm a functional illiterate. Who knew?

But, hey. Thanks for the plot idea. That could definitely come in handy. :)
